I have a smartups 10,000 (Model: SRT10KRMXLT). I have snmp working great, I have the MIBS, etc. I'm looking for a way to see output wattage per receptacle on the back.
The root of my problem is that I need to know how much space I have left per receptacle, hopefully in wattage. I'm hoping to get wattage directly but if I can get volts and amps I can calculate wattage.
At this point I don't mind if it's in the web interface, the cli of the card, snmp, or whatever method to achieve this. Can anyone assist me?
Thanks,
Nick

While the outlet groups are switchable, they are not metered. The UPS can only report the total output power.

Hi Nick,
SRT UPS's will only give you the total output of the UPS in %VA, %Watts, and Amps.
Metering by outlet is a feature on our rack PDU's (AP86xx and AP84xx).

I have run into this problem many times while trying to balance the load on our 3 phase 60amp circuits.
We use an off the shelf power meter to measure the load of each device before it goes into service. It gives us a ball park number to work with and it is recorded for future reference. Sometimes I just use the data provided by the manufacture.
I know of no way to continuously monitor the load per outlet, without spending big bucks. We have fried several cheap power meters by using them for long periods of time; despite claims from the manufacture.
Are you trying to measure power spikes or just the average load per outlet?
