HI
I have Smart-UPS SRT 5000 and it reported Bypass not in range;
In the data log i can see that Vmin significantly dropped at 02/02/2019 18:57:44. What could cause Vmin to drop like this ?Could this be a reason for bypass? It is still ongoing issue, last time occurred on 02/14
Thank you

Hi Eduard -
Yes, these voltage drops would be the cause of your "Bypass not in range" alerts. This is in reference to the input power to the UPS, so you might have to speak to an electrician or your Utility company to know the exact cause of the sags. You can adjust the acceptable bypass range via the network management card. Go to the Configuration menu and then select "Power Options".

HI Liam
Thank you for a quick reply. I appreciate your time.
I will go ahead and change lower bypass voltage and talk to an electrician.
Do you think input voltage and output voltage settings are not a problem in this case? I wanted to change rated output, but only value there is 208/240 and Output upper limit is only 235, not sure if this might cause any problems.

Yes, you will definitely get improved performance by setting the output to match the nominal input. In this case that would be 240v. You have to turn off the UPS output in order to make this change.
