I have a APC Smart-UPS RT 2000 and the fault red led "X" is blinking together with two LEDs of the batteries.
Starting from the bottom are the second and third, as shown in the picture.
All 3 leds flash together and slowly.
What can it be ?
Thanks in advance. Giovanni

Thanks Giovanni. On that model this would indicate a "DC/DC Converter Fault".
You can try "brain deading" the unit by turning it off, disconnecting the battery, and unplugging it from the wall. If this does not clear the fault, or if the fault returns, I would recommend replacing the UPS. This unit is over 10 years old, which is a pretty typical life span.
Thanks
Liam

Hi Giovanni -
Can I get the exact model and serial number of your unit? It will be on a small white sticker under the front cover.
