Hi
I know I can integrate PCNS with vCenter and achieve VM Prioritised Shutdown, but I want to do this with "stand alone" PCNS clients installed to each of the ESXi hosts in a cluster. Single UPS config.
How could I do this?
Thanks

Hi,
PowerChute does not directly shut down virtual machines for a standalone host. It is the hosts responsibility. If the host is ESXi 6.5 they may be able to prioritize by going to Actions, autostart, and enable autostart. Once autostart has been enable open autostart and select configure and configure the start up and shutdown.

Hi,
You can accomplish the task using Virtual Machine Startup and Shudown settings on the host.

Thanks Bill
The client tells me this option is not available when the server is in a cluster.
Any other ideas?
Thanks?
