Hello we got a Schneider UPS easy 3S 10KVA the ups show at all phases 230V and 7.2A (acording to the ups console screen) as input values. But at output is showing diferent current values 10.8A, 6.4A and 7.3A (for the 3 phases L1, L2, L3) for the same 230V (all phases), at the log is showing Overload mesages and the main circuit breaker has been activated disconecting the power that comes from the ups, my question is are the inout values causing this and shoudnt they be higher in termos of curent (A) ?

the input power generally pulls the same across the board. The UPS is a double conversion UPS meaning that it takes the input current converts it to DC for internal operation and battery charging. then converts it back to AC power for the output power. Though that the UPS will almost always pull evenly across all three phases to keep things running.
But on the output side you can have various connections, devices, and step down transformers pulling at different loads on different legs

Hello Dpierce4776,
Reading what ya wrote, The overload messages on the ups log are not caused by an excess load on the oupput side cause the load input values are normal. What may cause the overload messages then? its hapening on every friday at a certain time, someone conectiong more charge to the circuit?
Thanks for your help,
Paulo Neto

What time frame do you have set for reporting? I believe the default is every 10 minutes so it will only capture things at that mark not ever second.
Over load messages only happen when there is to much load on the UPS (output). Please remember that just because the load on the input is one thing does not mean that the output load is the same. the input side spreads the needed load across all three phases regardless of what each phase is doing on the output side. And it only takes one phase to be overloaded to throw the error.
