Uploading config with ftp - Ignoring new SMTP server

We have a bunch of AP9630 devices with firmware 6.4.0.

After uploading a new configuration mail everything seemed well at first.
According to the documentation the NMC2 will restart itself automatically.

"Note: Some settings that are uploaded may require you to logout. Look at the top of the screen. If the NMC has a large yellow banner indicating a reboot is required for some settings to take affect, you'll need to log off and the NMC will reboot to apply your settings."

In the webinterface I can see the SMTP server address, there is no icon indicating a pending reboot.
When I send a test mail it will continue to use the old SMTP server though.  (It's displaying the SMTP server in the received test mail, which matches the information from the mail header)

After rebooting the NMC one more time manually it will start to use the new SMTP server.

Can someone replicate this? I have tested this on three devices so far.

I did not click on save, I was just using the Webinterface to verify that the settings from the config.ini have been picked up successfully.

So basically the webinterface is showing the new settings, but it's still using the old ones until I restart the NMC.

Hello Benjamin,

Changing the SMTP server will not show you the notification that you need to restart the NMC. It is a setting that does not affect the operation of the NMC, therefore you would have to manually restart/reboot the NMC.

But, since you have already changed it to a new SMTP address and you clicked on save. When you send an e-mail using the NMC, it should be using the latest SMTP details.
