Upgrading a PX to N+1

Can I upgrade my PX system to N 1 myself or do I need to get someone from APC to do it?

Hi Zingo APC,

I'm assuming from some of your earlier posts that you are referring to a Symmetra PX 40kw UPS. My answer is based on that model, but may change if you are referring to another model PX.

Installation or replacement of a power module should only be performed by qualified personnel and should be done with the UPS in maintenance bypass and turned off. Instructions are provided in the UPS operation manual beginning on page 28.

You could also choose to have the installation performed by a Schneider Field Service Representative. Schneider's service or tech support teams could generate a quote for you for for this service.
