Unable to log in on PCNS web interface with correct Uname and pass

Hi,

I am not able to login with correct uname and password on PCNS web interface.
Server is Windows 2008 Standard Edt. R2 x64.

I did it successfully on the other server. I compare settings of IE 8 of both servers and they are same.

any information will be appreciated

can you check the attachment to my post and confirm that you have eliminated all of the items mentioned?

do you get an error - invalid username or password - or does it go to a blank page? do you see error on page on the bottom of internet explorer?

are you pressing enter to submit the username and password or pressing the login button on the page? try pressing the login button if you are pressing entire.

a screenshot may help of what you see when you submit your credentials.

also, can you try to login from a different computer? you can use http://:6547 from another computer, such as a linux or windows xp computer with a different browser to ensure that everything is working correctly. then we know its a browser issue on windows server 2008.

no problem. seems like it doesnt like your credentials. maybe reinstall it and try again to make sure that you do indeed have an valid username and password or try just the defaults temporarily to see if it logs in with those.

at this point, i have no reason to believe that the username and password is correct but still not allowing you access. how many characters is your username and does it have special characters in it?

credentials I use on four other servers - and they "like" it.
Uname: 3
Pass: 9 characters.

During installation - credentials are userd for communication with UPS- and it was ok.
After that on server it doesn't work. I hope that it is not IIS, ...

Thank you realy for yout time and support. The document you provided is super and helpfull, I will save it for future, who knows :).

But, If you can belive, I just do uninstall and install PCNS (without restart) and login was ok.
