Hi again,
I am trying to connect with an AP7960 so that I can reset the IP on it.
I am using a Lenovo ThinkPad T420, Win7 Enterprise SP1, with a USB to serial cable connected to the serial to RJ-11 plug. I have tried connecting via Putty at every possible baud rate, but I still just get a blank (black) Putty screen.
I have also tried plugging it directly into the APC switch that is connected to my ISX manager. I get a link light but no data transfer. So I assume that DHCP can't grab a hold of it. Can someone please point me in the right direction?
Thanks
-Mike

Nevermind, turns out I had flowcontrol set to "on/off" instead of "none" problem solved.
