The SRV1KI is not compatible with PowerChute. You can access the correct software from this link.
Once at the product page click on Software & Firmware.

I also used other UPS product...
There it was very easy to configure some settings dependent of the state of the UPS ex. when power breakdown shutdown the attached server based on events from UPS...
In this case I found nothing...PowerChute don't works as you have written.
APCUPS monitor is installed but where I set the configurations for the shutdown events in server direction?
For me a miracle and not very well documented.
I also installed the software package APC_ShutdownWizard - no success.
What's the use case of this software?
Why so complicated? I cannot understand!
Any helpful nice hints which software I have to install to control a server shutdown (Windows Server) with the SRV1KI model based on events?

Hi
Can anybody explain how to setup SRV1KI with USB connection and shutdown notification when necessary?
It cannot be that I payed > 600$ for a device that this function isn't supported, isn't it?
That's a joke...
Cu Tom
