I have an Back-UPS Pro 900VA that I have connected it to my Synology NAS. When connected to a PC with PowerChute I can see different information like the last time when UPS transferred to battery, energy usage, etc..
Are these info stored on UPS and communicated to PowerChute when inquired ? I want to know if I will receive the same info if I connect the UPS to PC from time to time (to see these info) and in the rest of the time the UPS stays connected to my NAS

Hi muntos,
The information is also available from PowerChute Personal Edition which is the software that is compatible with your BackUPS. With regards to your second post, the Computer should be left turned on and connected to the UPS in order to record the events that took place.

Ok, this is good, but there is a thing I don't understand: in PowerChute there is an option to send audible sounds only between selected hours...or you have the possibility to filter the events for the last day/week/month... but how does the UPS knows what hour/date it is, if I didn't configured such date on the UPS...?
