UPS (APC Back-UPS ES 600V) 10 second audible alarm

newly installed UPS (APC Back-UPS ES 600V) occasionally has 10 second audible alarm followed by 10 seconds of silence, then repeats, sometimes will repeat 10 times.  Power button light remains steady green during all this.  The silence function doesn't seem to stop it.

What could cause this audible alarm?

Given this is a brand new unit I would suggest you contact APC Technical Support.

To help identify and trouble shoot this specific error as I did not find this code in any of the user manuals. 🤦‍♂️ If they are unable to resolve this problem they will initiate a RMA for a replacement system.

Please have the purchase receipt, serial number, and brief description of the problem when you make contact.

NOTE: If you connect this unit to a computer running the APC Power Chute software (PCPE / PCSS). It may be able to call out the active fault / error code that is present relay the same here and to APC Support.
