We have a Symmetra 20K wich give a alarm on the SBS.
The left fan of the SBS isn't working.
Is there a way to re-seat the SBS or do we have to buy a new one and replace it?

We had two PX-40 static switch modules "re-fanned" a couple of months back on time and materials basis by our local FSE. The costs were ~ $175 each for the fan kits plus a service/shipping fee of about $200 plus labour - the latter depends on time of day...but is at least a couple of hundred an hour, plus travel time. For our two units the total cost was $1400 plus tax.

Hi Dennis,
If your system is covered by a service contract then the fans in the static switch module can be replaced by a qualified Field Service Engineer (FSE). If the UPS is not covered, then you could have the module repaired by a FSE under a time and materials visit (if available in your region). I hope this answers your question.
