Hey community, when I start the UPS the fan is continuously running and stops for about 1 minute after hours and then again continuously running even tho there is no heating or workload on my PC just simple browsing. This started happening a few days back and never happened before. The sound is annoying 😫

Depending upon the specific model UPS the fan will be on continuously, while on battery only, intermittently based on environmental conditions.
If the there is an active fault / error code relating to the fan the unit needs to be serviced. A (Fan) fault will be displayed on the unit if a display is available if not the unit will beep & flash the LED.
If the unit is connected to a computer running APC Power Chute Software. The fault / error will also be displayed in the event logs.
The APC PCPE / PCSS Software will indicate the battery temperature along with its voltage.
What does it say the battery temperature is?
As it relates to installation the unit should have the proper spacing for proper airflow. It should not be installed next to a heat register, in direct sunlight, or near heat generating appliances like a computer.
Verify the inlet port and exit holes are not blocked by debris such as dust, hair, etc.
