Hello,
I don't find the UPS is completely power off with the power LEDs everything off, after the graceful shutdown was done on the servers. Is this the case? But the logs on the NMC shows this message that the output power is turned off. Does this mean that the power on the UPS is off and no longer draining any battery power? Thank you.

The UPS is not completely of if the NMC is still accessible and if the LCD screen is still active. In general what happens is when PowerChute commands the UPS down the output power will be cut to the attached load and the UPS will enter sleep mode. IN sleep mode the UPS the UPS will continue to power the NMC. You can tell the UPS is in sleep mode when the LEDs on the unit are flashing in sequence / 1 after the other. This will last for around 9 minutes and then the UPS will power down completely to save the battery / batteries. In this state the NMC is not accessible and the LEDs are off.
Example with PowerChute Network Shutdown and SMX1500, PowerChute has been configured to start OS shutdown after UPS on battery for 60 seconds (shutdown delay) and to send power off command to UPS. The UPS outlet groups are configured with a 240 second power down delay.
1 - UPS goes on battery
2 - shutdown delay passes (60 seconds) OS is commanded down
3a - 70 second delay is started (this is built in and not configurable)
3b - Outlet group count down to shutdown starts (power down delay)
4 - OS shutdown starts
5 - OS powers down
6 - Outlet group delay elapses (240 seconds) and power is cut to the outlets
7 - UPS enters sleep mode (LED flash and the NMC is still accessible)
8 - UPS powers down after being in sleep mode for 9 minutes (LED go out and NMC is not accessible)
