The requested URL /NMC was not found on the APC Management Web Server.

Hi -

We just installed 2 new Smart-UPS RT 6000 XL devices.

After I log into the devices via the web-interface, using the default password, I receive the following error.

"The requested URL /NMC was not found on the APC Management Web Server."

Any ideas?

can you give me a screenshot of what you are trying?

normally to log in, you just go to the domain name or IP address of the NMC and thats it.

something like http://10.10.20.32

to me it sounds like you are going to http://10.10.20.32/NMC and that does not exist.

exact steps to replicate could be helpful and if you know what model NMC this is.

After entering the UPS IP address, the login page is displayed.
After entering the username and password and selecting ok, the screen appears with the message "The requested URL was not found on the APC Management Web Server."

Are you logging in using SSL or HTTP? If using SSL after entering the login information on the next screen enter 

https://system IP/NMC/Ca6aLQsfb3QqzKbcwAjdCg/home.htm replacing system IP with the IP address of the system.

If using HTTP after entering the login information on the next screen enter 

http://system IP/NMC/Ca6aLQsfb3QqzKbcwAjdCg/home.htm replacing system IP with the IP address of the system.

I'm using HTTP.

after logging into the page, a page appears with the message "The requested URL /NMC was not found on the APC management web server"

I did the procedure with the informed URL, inserting the IP of my system, the message "The request URL..." is displayed again.
