The missing spaces

Often many spaces are missing (at random) in my post submittals.  What am I doing wrong?

Mark,

The issue seem to appear when viewing the forum using Chrome but not in Firefox or IE. 

We are looking into the cause.

If it helps, the reason is because Chrome sometimes uses non-breaking spaces ( ) however the custom font used on this web page (SE Rounded) doesn't render these spaces. The font file should probably be fixed; I'm not sure if Chrome's non-breaking spaces should be converted to regular spaces.

It's an annoyance, nothing more, but until it's fixed, I could use an ascii text note generator and copy and paste?

Good idea! I roundtripped a message with missing spaces through notepad.exe and that corrected the problem.

*edit* Then had to do it again with this message.
