I have Symmetra lx 16k with 1 xr frame. When I replace all xr frame battery, xr frame fault with e0.
After that I replace all battery inside main unit and connect the xr frame again. But the error code e0 came again on xr frame. The UPS shown the actual dc voltage is148v. Any suggestion? Pls help

Hi Simon,
What I would like to have you do is swap the batteries between the main UPS frame and the XR frame and then measure the voltage. If the voltage changes, then we can most likely say one of the batteries is causing this and can start pulling batteries one at a time until we find the culprit. If the voltage stays the same then we know it is another issue, most likely the XR frame itself. In that case, we would want to disconnect all the batteries in the XR frame and the frame should stay lit. If the frame goes dark then we know the frame is not connected properly to the main UPS frame. It's just process of elimination at this point.
Also, about the IMs. The way the LEDs work is as follows, from left to right:
Green-IM in control, Red-Fault, Yellow-System Ok, Green-Bypass, Green-Power On.
The main intelligence module is actually the bottom module, and the redundant is the one on top. So are you saying the UPS is reporting the RIM is in control?
Nicole

Hello,
An E0 error on the Symmetra LX battery frame occurs when the battery bus voltage measured by the main intelligence module and the battery bus voltage measured by the XR communication card in the XR frame differ by more than 3 volts DC.
Possible causes of this are: faulty fuses on the XR frame, bent/broken pins on the battery power cable connecting to the XR frame, the power cable not be installed fully or not connected properly, a problem with the DC bus of the XR frame or the main UPS frame, or incorrect readings by the main intelligence module or the XR frame comm card.
Please provide me with the following information so we can try to figure out the issue:
What is the battery voltage readings reported by the UPS in the status menu when the XR frame is connected and when it is disconnected?
If you have a volt meter, what is the voltage measured at the Anderson connector at the end of the power cable of the XR frame? Voltage of the Anderson connector on the UPS frame?
Do you have any other XR frames connected to this UPS?
Check the Anderson connector for any bent pins.
Reseat the communication card on the XR frame.
Regards,
Nicole

Nicole,
Voltage 149.2 which connect xr frame
Voltage 149.4 which disconnect xr frame
Actual voltage I measure :
UPS frame is 136.6v, xr frame is 137v
MIM LED status from left to right : off, orange with flash, green
RIM LED status from left to right : green, orange, green
Thx
Simon
