Symmetra and Powerchute Business Edition

It may not be officially supported, but can Powerchute Business Edition be used with a Symmetra LX 8000 via USB or Serial?

While I have not personally tested it, all of the evidence I am finding suggests that when you try to install PowerChute via serial (since this UPS does not support USB for any communications natively), you'll receive a message that this UPS is unsupported.

If you are trying to do something specific, let us know and maybe we can figure out another option for you.
