Symmetra Power Array Charging Wattage
What is the maximum charging wattage that i can get from a symmetra power array. currently i am getting aprox 1200 watts (9.8 amp).
My UPS has following Specs:
4 power modules (4kva each)
1 Internal battery module
an external battery bank with 490 AH cells.

i asked the technical support lead for the Power Array which is the older beige model UPS, not the newer LX.

it is about ~300 watts when i checked so your reading appears correct. if you need it to charge faster, you can add another power module to get the another ~300 watts.

Are you sure about that wattage give me a call which ups are youy using the LX or the older one 775-888-8788

You are right, the older power array models have 300 watts per module. i verified it by inserting the fifth module and charging current bumped to 12.7 amps which is approx 1500 watts. i have a few of these models and all show the same charging characteristics.
