On August 8th our IT department supervised a full load test on a non-integrated system. The generator and ATS switch were purchased from different vendors and are not on the ISX Manager. The Symmetra 40 kw performed flawlessly. We learned that the generator also provides backup power for much of the building load, including the elevators. We had an electrician monitor power during the test.
He noted consistent 60 hz, but swells and sags when the elevator was used: high of 285 and low of 275.
He asked me the nominal voltage of the UPS. I'm not even certain I understand "nominal voltage."
Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks,
Ed

Hi Ed,
The nominal voltage is what the UPS will typically be running off of. The nominal for a PX 40K is 208 3PH but it can take an input voltage range for main operations of 177 - 240V.
