Symmetra 80kva started having "(UPS: Static Bypass Switch Module failure." errors followed by the "(UPS: Static Bypass Switch Module failure cleared."   What are the possible consequences, and what are the options to fix this?

Hi,

I checked with our 3 phase support team who said for a firm resolution or recommendation, they'd want you to call in and have your logs available where you see the messages. They did mention it could be a fan on its way out and asked if you heard any noises that could be the fan failing?

Otherwise, for US support 1-800-890-4272 opt5, opt4 is their number.

Let me know if you have any other comments/questions. On a lot of these 3 phase UPSs, because of their complexity, it is difficult to help and support here as well as provide concrete answers .

hey i have faced the same problem i was trying to find out the problem but i still can`t. i wish if u can give me any advice how to check the fun`s

I had the same issue but pulling it out and slamming it back into place cleared it ; it has to be hard insert
