I have been requested to enabled authenticated SMTP on our APC devices. To my utter surprise there isn't an option. Really??? Anonymous SMTP only??? APC, can you update the firmware with this trivial feature?

I have an even simpler request - update the firmware to allow SMTP on a port other than 25. Quite a few ISPs block port 25. It's crazy to have to trash my old NMC's and spend hundreds of dollars on new NMC 2's for this simple fix.

AP961x Network management cards are a discontinued hardware platform for the most part and will never receive authenticated SMTP, only the AP9630, AP9631, AP9635 as well as 2G Rack PDUs or any devices down the line that have integrated Network Management Card 2's have this feature and functionality.
