I received a post card from APC that says "The following units are out of warranty and are putting your data at risk." There are two listed. The second one is a BR700G purchased December 2012.
The documentation for this unit states the warranty is three (3) years from the date of purchase. It is not out of warranty, and the mailing appears to be invalid.

Hmm I am not too sure where that comes from but I am assuming you had registered these on apc.com at some point? If you want to pursue this further than just ignoring it (which I am sure will be fine), then let me know if I'll private message you to get the serial numbers and ask someone to research.
