On a Dell server running Windows 2012 R2, APC 1000
Powerchute was running ok until I tried to install a newer version
I uninstalled the old version, installed the latest JRE version 1.8.0_161
Still get same error

Hi,
The 9.5 Agent is not compatible with older versions of PowerChute Server and Console. To access the Agent open a web browser and enter the system ip address :6547 Example https://192.168.1.10:6547 (6547 is the port PowerChute uses) Another option is to enter https://Domain Name:6547 or if you are on the system the Agent is running on you can enter https://127.0.0.1:6547. When first opening the web interface you may be warned the connection is not secure. You should proceed to the page and log in.

Hi,
Sorry for the inconvenience. What PowerChute are you installing? PowerChute Business Edition or PowerChute Network Shutdown and which version?

Hi,
if you are comfortable with editing the registry please review Schneider Electric FAQ FA159894. Please verify that all attributes of any version have been removed.

I checked all the Registry settings and found no entries for Power chute
I rebooted, installed Power Chute Business Edition AGent 9.5.0 and the JRE configuration Tool 1.8.0_171, rebooted again and checked Task Manager
APC PBE Agent is running but I can't get the console to see power status and logged events
