Hi,
is it possible to initiate a battery selftest by software?
Thanks,

Hi,
The help files that are available explain the application.
If you tell me the version of PowerChute Agent that is running and if the Server and Console are in use and there versions I will tell you where to find the setting.
As an example on a system running PowerChute Agent 9.2 you will find the setting under the UPS Model, Diagnostics, Initiate Diagnostics, Select Diagnostic Action.

Hi,
Yes depending on the UPS and the software. With Smart-UPS and PowerChute Business Edition you can trigger a self-test.
With most but not all Back-UPS. Example, Back-UPS 750G with PowerChute Personal Edition you can trigger a self-test but with a BE450G you cannot.

Hi, that sounds great.
we have a Smart-UPS. I have installed PowerChute Business Edition on a separate computer (no UPS), but haven't found a possibility. Is there any manual for PowerChute?
Thank's
Michael
