Hi
I have an UPS form APC, smart series, the DLA1500I. I have bought used some times ago. It works fine but I would like to install the management software on windows and I'm having trouble with it. I have attached the UPS via USB to my desktop PC.
First of all which version of Powerchute do I need to install? Because the programm it's pretty old. I'm currently on windows 10 x64.

Hi
Ok I have installed PowerChute business edition 10 for windows 10, you need to opn with an internet browser right? There isn't a program interface .exe on windows anymore?
Anyway I have succesfully logged in by accessing with the browser but it doesn't recognize my old DLA1500I ...what can I do?
I have followed this video https://youtu.be/4E3PmZCWnfY?t=215 to install it and I have selected SMC type too...maybe I need to select something else?

Hi,
Since the release of PCBE 9.5 the interface is web only. The Console available with older versions was discontinued.

I see, I'll keep using the PCBE 10 then.
Also I would like to ask another thing. Is that possible to control the fan of the UPS? Because I remeber that when I first take this DLA1500I the fan was running non stop while right now it only turn on if it is running on battery. Also it make a strange noise. I don't if the fan is broken and need to be replaced so I would like to check with powerchute if there is a way to control/test the fan.
