I have a Back-UPS XS 1000VA - BX1000G that has the standard USB cord with it. I am using Windows Server 2008 R2. I assume the personal edition software that came with it won't work. I downloaded the buisness edition which appears to install but the APC server software doesn't appear to see it. All I want is for the server to shutdown before the battery runs out. Can I do that without buying any new cables etc?
