How do you reset the Battery Replacement Light on the Smartcell, not the SmartcellXR, but the Smartcell itself. Thanks for any help, need it bad.

Erin128 - there is a way to reset the smartcell battery replace LED, but it is complicated and involves a significant disassembly of the smartcell internally, installation of jumpers on the battery monitoring card, etc...in attempting it you are exposed to hazardous voltages and only an experienced technician should attempt it.

What state is your smartcell in that you want to reset the LED ?

Erin,

There is no way to reset the LED on the Smartcell, other than to snip the wire that runs to it. The SmartCell was not designed to have User-Replaceable batteries due to the metal bus bar that runs between batteries 2 and 3. Therefore, once the pack goes bad - that's it.
