Hey there,
First time posting, I can't seem to solve this one solo. I'm even having trouble finding the right firmware to update this system. The MODEL is SMX1500RM2UNC and the first 6 of the serial is AS1217.
The system seems to power off at the slightest change in power. I FTP'd in to pull logs and I'm seeing "Failsafe task #50" and "Netsafe Reset" in the debux.txt.
The following is in the event.txt log :
08/03/2020 09:00:48 UPS: The output power is turned off. 0x0114
08/03/2020 09:00:48 UPS: The output power is now turned on. 0x0113

This next snippet is from data.txt :

For the record after relocating all of the components I had running off of this (0% Load now) the system is staying online.. I'm not sure where to start. I just swapped in fresh batteries just last week and it was working flawlessly.

Thanks for the insight! I'll see about adding a few things back on to it to see if under a reasonable load it maintains reliability.

Hi Brandyn,
Can you tell us what you have connected to the UPS?

I sure can.
I believe the load was around 60-70%. We have an MD1000 rack mounted storage, and MD3200 rack mounted storage. A Dell r720 server and a Dell r720xd server as well.

That load seems very low for that amount of equipment, do all of those units have dual power supplies and if so are all power supplies connected to the UPS or are some of them connected to a mains outlet?

I may have misspoken due to having moved all of that equipment off of this APC unit, but those are the main pieces of equipment that are ran on this apc (also a sonicwall and switch/router). The unit running with no load hasn't powered itself down since.

Hi Brandyn,
It sounds like an overload situation, where the UPS does not have the capacity to run that much equipment it is possible that this can happened even if the UPS does not look overloaded in normal conditions.
I'll use a really simple example to explain:
1x 1Kva UPS
2x Servers with two power supplies & 600 watt consumption each
On normal operation each server pulls 300w from the UPS and 300w from the wall, 70% load on the UPS (roughly), now the power goes out and both servers want to pull 600 watts each from the UPS, 140%, the 1Kva UPS can't take this and the load drops.
The same can be true for power variations, the UPS will "clean" the power, the server will detect "clean" and "unclean" power and stop pulling from the wall outlet.
