SmartUPS 2200-xl and plug in battery system

Hello all,

I did a little bit of homework on this and it makes sense to me...however......

I have a old Matrix 5000 UPS with a Smartcell battery pack. The batteries are almost new. The EU unit on my system died so it does not work.

However, I have a SmartUPS 2200 XL right next to it. It has the same blue plug. I see that both units are 48 volt. Is there any reason I can not use the SmartCell battery pack in the SmartUPS 200xl?

Hi Tom,

Though they have the same kind of plug or connector, the SmartUPS unit that you have do not have the right battery charger to support the SmartCell batteries.
