Smart UPS with 100% loaded batteries, 52% load says battery discharged and 2m runtime...
Hello,
I have a SmartUPS 1400 with a 9617 NMC. As soon as the load goes over about 25-30%, I get a message in the log "UPS: The battery power is too low to support the load; if power fails, the UPS will be shut down immediately." and the 'runtime remaining' drops to 2 minutes; when the load drops again, I see "UPS: A discharged battery condition no longer exists.".
The battery was replace 1 year ago and looks good; voltages etc also all look good - the UPS tells me 27.6V and 100% capacity, 100% charged - which seems inconsistent with message above. I did a recalibration and a self-test a few days ago and these are 'passed'.
I read somewhere here that an UPS can go up to about 80%, so I'm far from that. Are the batteries already dead? Can there be something else?
