Smart-UPS X SMX2200HV Faceplates

Hi,

I have just got hold of a SMX2200HV, was left in a corner of one of the offices I look after.

Stripped down and brought back home, but no front faceplates and other external bits, powers up ok.

Wonder of anyone here can assist ?

You have three choices to obtain the front bezel: Buy directly from APC, reseller, eBay.

The front bezel part number for the main UPS is 876-0017. The part number for the extended battery pack is 876-0013.

The part numbers indicated up above are the physical hardware part. I call this out because more often than not it’s not known because the assembly comes in a kit (accessory pack) which has a completely different part number! 🤦‍♂️☝️

It should be noted in previous generations of production. The extended battery pack did NOT come with the APC logo on the bezel. 

Lastly, if all you need is the main unit bezel that has a cut out for the LCD. The SMT bezel also fits the SMX line. 👍 The SMT bezel looks completely different from the SMX but is often more available for purchase. 

Having said that the SMT (current) line does not offer a front bezel for the extended battery pack.

Found this one on eBay, but having issues paying for it, as I'm in the UK and looking on UK ebay there are a few silly prices for the front panel

Yes I agree the cost for the bezels are selling for unreasonable prices. 😢 Going directly through APC / Reseller is even more?!? 😡

Not very surprised you haven’t found any of the 876-0013’s solid bezels. When they are listed they sell out very quickly. 

I was very lucky many years back and purchased an entire lot of APC bezels. That spanned the SMX, SMT, SRT, and SU series. The pallet had 300+ bezels, rails, and rack ears. Probably the best $350.XX I’ve ever spent! 🤣🤟

As an aside you may also consider searching for government / private auctions. I’ve found some incredible deals going that route on various items that span enterprise racks, hardware, and infrastructure accessories.

If I find something in the future (bezels) I’ll post it here for your review. 👍

I got the feet as well in the post, so just 876-0013 to find

Was just thinking the feet for the Smart-UPS X SMX2200HV, I bought what I thought but was 2u and not the correct feet
