Hi,
I am currently designing 2 interacting electrical cabinets, each having its own Smart UPS SRT 10000VA. Before freezing the design I have a couple of questions:
Thank you in advance,
Kind regards

Thank you both for your answers. It looks like I'll have to use a second dry contacts card then, this is to wire to emergency switches and bimetal switches so with relays I can make them isolated from eachother.
I am more bothered about the fact the outlet groups cannot boot in a predefined state no matter the shutdown cause, but I guess I will have to find another less convenient way to make sure my temperature controllers don't boot unsupervised before the PC. I'll leave that thread open for now.
Off topic: your website may be annoyingly slow to respond, but I must admit your forum is the best one I have seen in a while, congratulations.

Hello.
Here is what I know, also after consulting with our EMEA region support team.
1.) Parallel capability is not yet available for these units. I am not sure how it is going to work when it is released but I think it may require a hardware change when it is released. I imagine they might make a specific SKU for it. One option I know of to sync control commands would be using Sync Control option in the onboard Network Management Card. It uses multi-cast network technology and is designed to help sync up the controls between multiple UPSs so if you reboot one UPS, the other will also reboot at the same time. It is good for equipment with redundant power supplies. I don't know if that would suffice. Alternatively, you can add an AP9613 Dry Contacts SmartSlot card to each UPS for dry contacts (or an AP9810 dry contacts accessory - each UPS supports (1) by default - (2) inputs and (1) output are on each AP9810) but there is no way to tie them together as far as I know. I am not sure if you'd be able to wire the contacts themselves in parallel but it may be possible depending on what your dry contacts would be wired into.
2.) Yes, I see this as an available option for the outlet groups on an SRT.

Something to be aware of: synch control groups act on the entire UPS, not at the level of individual outlet groups.
Also, "stay off after power returns" only applies when the UPS is turned off due to one of the load shedding conditions.
