We have a problem with a new Smart-UPS SC620I ups. After 4 to 24 hours the ups somehow fails with no prior indication. Until now the ups has never functioned more then 24hours.
symptoms:
After a number of hours (24 or less) the UPS fails (no power, no leds).
The ups fails with or without any equipment connected (until now only connected an lcd monitor to test the ups).
When the ups fails no power is provided to the connected equipment.
Only after one hour (more or less) is it possible to turn the UPS back on (by pressing the front button), before that pressing the button has no effect.
After reconnecting to the UPS with to provided monitoring software the battery is still charged 100%.

Before I recommend contacting UK Tech Support, I did want to verify a few things
Can the UPS pass a pull-plug test > 5 minutes with a 100-W light bulb attached?
Is the serial cable attached to the rear of the UPS and left dangling?
