Smart-UPS RT 8000 Red Led

Goodmorning,

We have a Smart-UPS RT 8000 that beeps every few seconds. The RED led blinks most of the time but sometimes it is Solid RED.

I guess one of the battery's is dead, but how do I know which one?

Yes, that would indicate that you have a bad battery. All 4 battery modules must be replaced at the same time. The replacement battery kit part number is APCRBC140, which contains 2 modules. You would need to purchase two of the APCRBC140 kits to get all 4 modules.
