Hello, I have a Smart-UPS RT 5000 model and I'm trying to run a battery calibration on it. The question is that during this process the load (which consists of server and other network equipment) will be shut down ?

Thank you for the answer...so If I understood correctly If I initiate the calibration procedure from the web interface (method 1 ) it won't have any load drop ?

Sir my question is not about calibration.. My question is up to how many battery packs can a Smart UPS SRT5000KXLI can support? Because i installed 2 battery packs already and on the third battery pack when I plugged the third battery pack it gives me an error of over voltage or something. Also if I update the firmware of UPS will it give the setting that i can install/mount more battery packs? Coz in the product manual i have read that it can support up to 10 battery packs.. Thank you sir..
Gerard

I have 8 battery packs running on a similar model UPS. I'm thinking if you received an overvoltage??? that to me would indicate a voltage problem in that particular battery pack, maybe something is not wired correctly, usually you have about 52 volts DC from each group o4 4 batteries, 4 * 13 = 52 volts and each deck has 2 sets of those batteries. Im thinking I would measure the voltage on that one deck. Batteries would not otherwise be overvoltage unless maybe hooked up wrong internally?
