SMT-series noise?
I'm looking for a quiet line interactive pure sine wave tower ups and need current information about SMT-series. I try to find a model with I could sleep in the same room. My server is already quiet enough (about 20dBA). Asking about different models because extra capacity would give longer run time and could power desktop computers. Noise while fast charging batteries or using battery power doesn't matter.
I read in this forum thread that SMT750I doesn't have a fan. Is this still true for newly produced ones?
How about SMT1000I, does it have a fan nowadays? I have read it doesn't and does from users.
Does SMT1500I fan rotate often in 23'C environment and how loud it is while ups is in eco mode?
