Just need to know how to determine which battery to replace in a situation like this?
The unit is giving an SNMP error:
Serial # : JA03160XXXXXX
Device Ser #: JS06280XXXXXX
Date: 12/09/2012
Time: 14:26:15
Code: 0x0119
The serial number and device ser are different, is this the hint?
Thanks!

the JA serial number is the serial number of the network management card accessory that is giving you the SNMP trap. the JS serial number is the serial number of the UPS itself. if the UPS has a bad battery alarm, unfortunately it is not smart enough to tell you which battery. you'd have to manually figure it out and do a self test with one set each at a time to see if it fails with only the internal batteries or only the external battery pack(s).
if they are the same age though as the UPS internal batteries, it'd make sense to replace them both, expecting they'd both fail around the same time.

Thanks!
This is about what I figured, just needed someone to tell me for sure. Initially I was worried about different battery part numbers but after looking them up the parts are the same for the main unit as well as the external packs so we're all good!
