Smart-UPS RT 1500 XL site wiring faults

I have a a Smart-UPS RT 1500 XL which is sending out traps/messages flapping between a site wiring fault exists, and condition has cleared.  The doc says to have a qualified electrician inspect (for site wiring fault), but with it continuously flapping back and forth between ok/not ok, is there anything else I should be looking for?

The other possible causes for a site wiring fault would be:

1. Overloaded neutral wire (>5 VAC measured between Neutral and Ground).
2. Reversed polarity (hot and neutral wires are reversed).
3. Missing or loose ground wire. (Note: this also includes using a 3 prong to 2 prong adapter)

I would look at what else is on the same circuit as your UPS, including anything connected to the UPS. One of those other pieces of equipment could be causing a problem with an overloaded neutral maybe or some other issue. I would assume the issue is not reversed polarity since you said it is coming and going. That leaves item #1 or #3 most likely.

Yes it is.  I was looking for other ideas since it is flapping so much, and I'm remote to the UPS, so I can't see for myself what is plugged in. I'll find out what else is plugged into the UPS.
