Smart UPS RT 1000VA - none of credentials worked
Hello,
Ive just installed a new Smart UPS RT 1000VA from the box, SN: SAS2206394032 on a remote location but i cant login to the device with any credentials ive found over the internet.
As device is on remote location i cant connect by console or do the manual reset, just webUI or terminal.
Ive found here that there may be some alternate password, can anyone provide me some additional info about it please ?

What user name / password did you use? The default for both is all lower case: apc

At this point you’re best served by asking someone to press and hold the reset button on the NMC for 20+ seconds.
Doing so will format and erase the NMC to a default state and enable DHCP. The user name and password will be all lower case apc.
Any network attributes and user defined settings will obviously need to be reentered.
I have appended the reset procedure for the NMC. In case there is someone on site you believe can assist in this task given it’s remote:
https://www.apc.com/us/en/faqs/FA156075/
Let me know how everything turns out. 👍
