My company is currently working on a email migration from Exchange to Gmail.
Google requires all smtp traffic to be authenticated via a login, have SSL STARTTLS enabled and mail should be sent via port 465 or 586. I am currently looking through the software on our UPS and i have found a place to enter the email address account and SMTP server information but non of the option are available. Is this possible to setup and have alerts sent through? Or am i out of luck, or would a firmware update help at all.

Good day Scott,
Unfortunately our Network Management Card 1 (AP9617/18/19) does not support e-mail authentication and works only on SMTP port number 25. The latest firmware revision for these cards are 3.7.3 but still it does not offer what you are looking for.
Our new products, Network Management Card 2 (AP9630/31) supports basic/unencrypted e-mail authentication and with the latest available firmware 5.1.5 that gives you the ability change the SMTP port.
