Smart-UPS Battery Voltage Calibration?

Hi, I have the SU2200 as below:

Model: Smart-UPS 2200
Firmware Revision: 80.11.D
Manufacture Date: 02/22/99

The battery voltage remains at a constant 54.05 volts and indicates 94% - 95% charged and never reaches 100%. This charge level and voltage is indicated on two pairs of RBC-11 batteries. What should the proper floating battery voltage be and is there any way to tweak the charger within the UPS? Thanks for any information and suggestions.

I answered this question by myself after repair of the charging circuit in my UPS.
