Hi there,
I have a SMART-UPS SUA3000I (S/N AS1051141881) which was purchased just under a year ago.
Some basic information:
Running load ~15%
Battery Voltage 56V
Internal Temp 22C
No faults showing up from self test on powerchute software.
It has recently started behaving very oddly.
When running from batteries, or in the charging phase all seems ok, however, when it fully charged and just sat there with the power connected to it it will every now and then start flashing lights at me. The lights that flash are:
AVR Trim
AVR Boost
On Battery
Overload
Replace Battery
I've let it fully discharge and recharge, same error
I've disconnected from the supply, disconnected battery, left for an hour and tried again. same error
I have three more of the same model that are running fine and have never shown this issue.
Can anybody point me to what the problem may be?
Thanks
Giles

these are the "center 6" LEDs it sounds like besides the "online" LED, correct? or is online flashing too?
the center 6 LEDs all flashing indicates an AVR relay weld and would require a UPS replacement. so it appears that you may still be in warranty to get a replacement.
this generally happens if your UPS boosts or trims (functions of AVR - automatic voltage regulation) on a regular basis when generally the UPS is not designed to be boosting and/or trimming all day long. thus, it is possible to indicate a welded relay.
