Smart UPS 750 Batteriewechsel
Meine Smart UPS zeigt an, "Batterie verbinden". Alles in Ordnung.
If so here are a couple things to check and consider.
Using Power Chute software update the system that a new battery has been inserted. After this has been done you may need to complete a battery calibration. The above step should resolve this issue if not read below.
On the back is a battery disconnect plug. Ensure it’s inserted all the way - better yet unplug it and insure it’s fully seated.
If the rear battery disconnect plug is fine. Remove AC power from the UPS by unplugging it from the wall. Remove the battery and confirm the fuse is not blown (open) by measuring it with a multimeter. If you don’t have a meter you can open up the black heat shrink and look inside.
If the little fuse able link (wire) is melted / blown apart - replace the fuse with the same current (amperage) rating.
If the fuse and battery disconnect are both fine insure the battery terminals are tight and secure on the positive / negative posts.
A good connector will require some effort and force to insert / remove. If they are loose just take a plier and gently crimp the end closer.
Let me know what you find and confirm the manual provided is your model. If not please link to your specific model.
