Sounds like something wasn't programmed properly. Where did you purchase this UPS? Since 700's are rather old, I was just thinking it might be a refurbed unit.

We have had this conversation before pertaining to the UPS Link Language being proprietary. You are, through what I am witnessing, using these UPS's for personal use, and therefore, would not warrant putting in a request for UPS-Link Language just to communicate with the UPS EEPROM interface.

Please refrain from requesting information pertaining to the Link Language and Hyperterminal commands. No APC Moderator, or myself as an Admin, will provide that information for you.

If you wish to know more about it, I am sure if you do a Google search, the basics are posted somewhere on a site that APC does not have control of.

As I stated in my previous post, those commands are propritary to APC. Even if we could give them out, you run the risk of accidently changing a value that could render the ups unusable. So I still would recommend going back to the dealer that refurbed it or APC's recommended refurb company Coastal Buisiness Machines.

Yes i repaired unit from APC authorised dealer in india.
Do you know details hyper terminal languages so i feed in my PC

Unfortunately, those commands to change that value are proprietary and can not be given out to end users. It also possible that the dealer that serviced it used parts from a 1000va unit and that may be why it has changed. The only thing I could recommend is that you possible consult the dealer that refurbed it or contact Coastal Business Machines here in the US.
