Smart-UPS 5000: How Many Batteries?

I have 2 Smart-UPS 5000, code SUA5000RMI5U. APC Site told me to buy RBC55 which includes 2 Batteries. I've got them but when I went to the UPS I've discovered 2 Batteries on the left side of the UPS + 1 Battery on the right side of the UPS. This sums 3 Batteries. Now I know my UPS has 3 Batteries but where do I get confirmation that I should change all of them with 2 Batteries from a RBC55 + 1 Battery from "half" of a 2nd RBC55? Please note RBC55 includes 2 Batteries. Regards.

Looking at the website and manual, the UPS requires 2 RBC55 and the RBC55 is two batteries. So that is 4 batteries in total.

3 go into left side and the fourth in the Right.

Connect the batteries as you put them in apart from the 3rd one and the single one, only connect them after you have closed the doors to prevent the wires getting pinched.

I read an advise: "Do not connect the single battery or the last battery installed in the string of three batteries."

What does that mean? I have 3 Batteries on the left. Should I connect only the first 2 and leave unconnected the 3rd?

Hi

It seems they didn't write that very well, leave them unconnected until you have secured the door and then connect them, it's just to make sure the wires don't get pinched or get in the way of the door.
