Smart UPS 3000xl battery light blinking with new batteries

I have 2 smart ups 3000xl. both replace battery lights were on. I replaced batteries on both. After I did that I held test button. All of the battery charge lights came up on one of them after a few hours. On the other one the battery charge lights just blink. When I press the test button it goes back to one blinking light and eventually all of them blinking. Any suggestions ? thanks
