Hi,
I have a UPS 3000VA RM 2U 230V with network management Card and need to connect three devices to it, a network switch, a NAS and a server. The problem I'm facing is that after a power failure the devices need to boot in a specific order.
Now I'm wondering if this is possible with my UPS, since it has only the main outlet group plus one additional outlet group. I hoped it would be possible to use Wake-On-LAN, but APC FAQ tells me it is not supported.
Can anyone provide some insight? Is it possible to have a start sequence with three devices that start in order or even better switching each plug socket on/off separately?
Best regards
Jay

Unfortunately, you can only control outlets at the group level on this UPS. If you wanted switching per outlet, you'd want to look at adding a Switched Rack PDU to your set up and power it with your UPS.
Anyway, I'd review these first and see if it provides any further detail that could work for you:
