Your two UPSs should ideally be powered by two separate power circuits for redundancy. We don't support "parallel" UPSs for these smaller UPSs for sharing load.
Ideally, once you power your UPSs from two separate power circuits, then does all of your load (server, NAS, etc) have dual input power? You'd plug one power cord into the outlets on each UPS. If they do not have redundant power, some suggestions may be different here so please clarify that.
From there, you would need to install UPS Network Management Cards (AP9630 or AP9631) in each UPS and use PowerChute Network Shutdown on supported operating systems. The PowerChute software will look at the IP address of each Network Management Card in each UPS to determine when to shutdown based on the status of each UPS. A scenario like this won't offer the ability to use USB or serial to more than one device. And if your NAS does not support PowerChute on its OS, it may support another type of UPS status monitoring like SNMP (which the Network Management Cards support). Otherwise, you may be able to execute a script from your server to shutdown the NAS.
More detailed information on a redundant UPS setup as I described for your enjoyment is here and I would start there then let me know if you have further questions -> www.apc.com/whitepaper/?an=98
